TGIF!

We’ve been basking in the beauty of springtime in New York City this week– all of the trees in our neighborhoods seem to have bloomed overnight! We had some visitors from across the pond this week: four super-talented students from Falmouth University in England stopped by our office for a portfolio review. It was great to share our experience and check out work from young designers. Our hand-lettered, illustrated posters and postcards for the 16th Annual SONYA Art Walk are here at last. The bold color scheme and fun, messy aesthetic printed exactly as we wanted!

Around the Neighborhood

Tomorrow is independent bookstore day! Support one of our city’s independent bookstores, and be sure to head to the afterparty at one of Brooklyn’s best, the POWERHOUSE Arena in DUMBO. This weekend, Jane’s Walk NYC is offering three days of 200+ free walking tours throughout the five boroughs. The topics and locations covered are broad – you can learn about anything from the history of the Bronx’s Little Italy to public celebrity meltdowns. Needless to say, we’re having trouble choosing.
