TGIF!

Sebastian’s back from his weeklong trip to Hong Kong and returned bearing delicious gifts, which didn’t last long in our studio. It’s been a busy week at McMillianCo., especially since Taste of the Lower East Side is drawing closer. We’ve been working on some design elements and interactive concepts unique to this year’s event, including a fun illustration series for an installation piece. Stay tuned for more! And of course, you can check out the final product on April 15th at the 15th Annual Taste of the Lower East Side– all proceeds go towards Grand St. Settlement’s fantastic programs that benefit the communities on both sides of the Williamsburg Bridge.

Around the Neighborhood

Sure, it’s the second weekend of the spring Fort Greene Greenmarket, but this time it actually kind of resembles spring outside. Head to Washington Park this Saturday (3/28) and browse their wide selection of sustainable food grown in NY’s Orange County. It’s also the second installment of The Bodega’s five-week Drink ’n Draw series, Sunday night at the Bushwick bar and eatery from 8pm-10pm. This combines two of our favorite activities– what better way to wrap up the weekend?
