TGIF!

It’s been an exciting week for the McMillianCo. team! On Tuesday night, we attended the Greenpoint Chamber of Commerce annual meeting, which was held at Kickstarter’s incredible space on Kent Ave. The event drew a great crowd of local entrepreneurs, businesses and community members, and the identity we’ve been working on for the Chamber was revealed. We’re excited to see what the new year (and bold new look!) brings. Our Greenpoint Chamber business cards were printed this week as well, on 48pt Ultra White Uncoated paper with a black seam down the middle. Needless to say, we’re obsessed with this ultra-chic cards. Check out our previous blog post on the creative process behind this logo! We’ve also been sharing the fun illustrations we created for a display at 2015’s Taste of the Lower East Side. Branding and creating all the materials for this community-building charity event for the third consecutive year has been an honor, and we can’t wait ’til April 15th.

Around the Neighborhood

Starting this weekend, the rare notebooks of Jean-Michel Basquiat will be on display at the Brooklyn Museum. No matter what you may be celebrating this week, you can hunt for these fabulous seasonal candies throughout the city. Unless you don’t eat chocolate or sweets, in which case, we’re very sorry.
