TGIF!
We’re still feeling the good vibes from Taste of the Lower East Side at Metropolitan Pavilion on Wednesday! We’ve been designing and developing all kinds of pieces for this event for the past several months, and it was so satisfying to see all of it come together on the big night. The event raised over $450,000 to benefit Grand St. Settlement’s community programming and human services for New Yorkers in the Lower East Side and Brooklyn, exceeding expectations. We recapped the night and the work we created for it in the previous blog post, and our latest case study covers the banners we illustrated and designed to honor 15 of Grand St. Settlement’s most inspiring community members. We’re so proud to have been involved in this night of eating well and giving back!
Today we’ve launched the new and improved, fully responsive Evergreen website. After creating the identity for this North Brooklyn business membership organization, we developed a much-needed new website with an easy-to-navigate drop-down menu, integrated social media channels, and a CMS back-end to make updating user-friendly for their team members. Be sure to check it out!

This weekend is the 7th annual Brooklyn Folk Festival, taking place at St. Ann’s Church in Brooklyn Heights. The three-day festival includes 30 bands, workshops, dancing, jam sessions, film screenings and more, and tickets are still on sale. Tomorrow is also Record Store Day, a celebration of independent record stores and the culture surrounding good old fashioned vinyl music. Support one of our city’s many record stores that are still rocking on.
