TGIF!

Happy fall, y’all! We celebrated the last day of summer at Splitty, one of our favorite neighborhood bars, earlier this week, and now we’re getting excited for all things autumn. Take a sneak peek at a spooky illustration project we have in the works! The seasons aren’t the only thing that’s changing around here– we’ve welcomed a new addition to the McMillianCo. team. Meet Molly in our previous blog post!

Around the Neighborhood

It’s going to be a perfect fall weekend, and a perfect weekend for music lovers. Tonight marks the start of the Brooklyn Americana Festival, with live music ranging from folk and country to blues and jazz. Forty different bands will be playing throughout DUMBO venues on Saturday and Sunday, though tonight’s kickoff is at the Jalopy Theatre in Red Hook. Check out their website for details! Tomorrow is also the Brooklyn Flea Record Fair  at Smorgasburg on the Williamsburg waterfront, where you can browse vinyl from record shops, collectors, DJs and labels.
