TGIF!

As you may already know, we’re so excited for tomorrow’s North Brooklyn Pride Fest! Branding North Brooklyn’s LGBTQ Pride block party was a huge honor for us, and we’re so happy with the way our vibrant notebook-doodle inspired branding looks. We also got to work on fun illustrated promotional materials for the River 2 River Bash, a block party that will be kicking off the Lower Manhattan Cultural Counsel’s River to River Festival. For this project, we created Gus the Gull, a cute mascot representing New York Waterway at this all-ages event. We wrote about this project in a previous blog post as well– it’s been a busy week of creating unique work for our New York City community and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Around the Neighborhood

This evening at 5pm, head to North End Way for the River 2 River Bash, the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s block party featuring artists, music, and discounts at area restaurants and retailers. Bonus: you can pick up some of the awesome swag we designed for this event.

Naturally, we strongly recommend you attend this Saturday’s North Brooklyn Pride Festival. The event is taking place on N 11th St. between Wythe and Kent Aves. in Williamsburg. From 12pm-3:30pm is a family picnic with cool kid-friendly events, including festival standards like face painting and balloon artistry as well as a DJ set and dance party. The block party kicks in at 4pm, where you can check out delicious food and drink, a killer DJ line-up, drag performances, and more.
