TGIF!
We’ve been getting into the Halloween spirit this week in the office, especially yesterday when our designers came in disguised in developer Chris’s signature outfit. And be sure to check out the spooky, hand-lettered and illustrated poster with a nautical twist that we designed for the East River Ferry. In non-haunted happenings, we’ve got lots of cool projects in the works, including a map of the city’s waterways. William had a great experience at the AIGA Design Conference earlier this month– read all about it in our previous blog post!

Around the Neighborhood
Our city is gravely serious about Halloween, and there are too many holiday events taking place to count. We have to recommend neighborhood classic Halloween 313, an extravaganza that’s been taking place in Clinton Hill for over 20 years! Each year’s event features a free, elaborately staged performance based around an original theme– Saturday’s show is called Malice in Underland. Head to 313 Clinton Ave., where the family-friendly play will be taking place every half hour between 5pm-9pm. If you still don’t know what to dress as, fear not– Shaylyn illustrated these last-minute Halloween costumes.
