TGIF!
It’s been an action-packed week at the studio! We’re so grateful we had opportunity to create the design elements for Grand St. Settlement’s JUMPstart Change Rally last weekend. The event celebrated GSS’s 100 years of service and brought together the community to get involved and make a difference– read more about our work for this inspiring initiative in our previous blog post.
We also shared the festive illustrated and hand-lettered poster we designed for the East River Ferry, giving a spooky nautical twist to Halloween. Our poster in progress for the Flying Carpet Theatre’s latest touring show, Alpin Hong: Chasing Chopin made its debut this week as well. This unique production combines autobiographical storytelling with piano performance as the renowned pianist details his lifelong relationship with the music of Chopin, and we created a design that reflects this concept.

Around the Neighborhood
This lousy weather from Joaquin is discouraging us from doing much this weekend, but the sun just might come out in time for you to check out Sunday’s 3rd Avenue Festival in Bay Ridge. Now in its 42nd year, the event spans 24 blocks and includes rides, games, food, live performances, and more.
Get in touch with us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Behance, and Dribbble. Enjoy the great indoors this weekend!
