TGIF!

This week, we set sail on the East River Ferry for a unique photoshoot project we’re really excited about. Speaking of photography, we’re in the midst of sharing lots of new (and newly photographed) work! Stationery pieces we designed for the Greenpoint Chamber of Commerce arrived, and we still can’t get enough of this strictly black-and-white design. We’ve been utilizing the unique, industrial setting of the Navy Yard as our backdrop for our ongoing shoot– check out our summer posters, SONYA Art Walk tote, and our East River Ferry alternate logo embroidered on a baseball cap. Stay tuned for more!

Around the Neighborhood

Get ready for a totally rad Friday night at Prospect Park: Brokelyn is hosting a wet-n-wild 80s dance party at Lakeside’s first ever 21+ splash pad! Throw on your best 80s swimwear for this night of games, raffles, drinks, and splashing around. But wait! There’s more, more, more– the party coincides with ‘80s hair metal night at Lola Star’s Dreamland Roller Disco. Admission is $18, which gets you into the splash pad and includes roller rink admission and skate rental. Beer is free for the first hour, so be there at 7:30pm!
